Are you a mom who has been struggling with your faith and know you need to heal?
Do you want to talk to God, but now sure how to pray?
Are you wanting to grow closer to God, but worried you aren't worthy?
You’re in the right place.
This podcast will guide you in your faith journey through healing scriptures, teach you how to pray, explain what fear of God is without making you afraid, tell you what God says about your salvation wellness, and help you build a family prayer life.
Hi, I’m Ash. Mom of two, wife, and completely obsessed with Jesus. I grew up believing I was a good Christian, until watching my child suffer led to my faith unraveling.
I was left picking up the pieces, trying to pray but not knowing where to start, and struggling to believe in God at all.
It wasn’t until 2am in my son’s hospital bed that I broke down, stopped hiding behind perfect prayers, and went to God fully as myself that my faith transformed.
I found a way back to God that lets me live life with peace and so much joy even in the toughest circumstances. I took what I learned and created two frameworks, one for faith and one for prayer, to guide others to God all by showing up fully as themselves.
If you are ready to build a strong foundation in Christ toward an authentic relationship with God, share your faith with your family, and feel peace within your home, then this podcast is for you.
Grab that cozy blanket, open your Bible, and let’s seek God together.
Welcome to Faith-Filled Home. Where we go from scared of God to Christ-centered motherhood.

60 | Should I Be Afraid of God? What Fear of God Really Means for Moms
Tuesday Apr 21, 2026
Tuesday Apr 21, 2026
Do you ever feel like you have to "get it together" before you can come to God?
When you picture God looking at you… does He feel safe — or slightly disappointed?
Have you been carrying a fear of God that feels more like dread than peace?
In this episode, I'm breaking down what the fear of God actually means in Scripture — so you can stop living in quiet dread and start experiencing real peace, trust, and connection with God. We're talking about the subtle, often unspoken fear many women carry in their faith — the belief that God is conditional, distant, or keeping score. Whether that fear came through legalism, spiritual abuse, or simply the way faith was handed to you, we're calling it what it is: not truth, but a wound.
Inside this episode, you'll learn:
- The difference between biblical fear of God (awe, reverence, wonder) and fear rooted in anxiety and punishment
- How legalism and spiritual abuse can shape a distorted view of God without you realizing it
- Why the God you've been afraid of may not be the God of Scripture at all
- How to begin healing your view of God through healing scriptures, prayer, and honest reflection
- Simple, practical steps to start trusting God again — even if your faith feels fragile
If you've been searching for biblical encouragement, healing scriptures for the mind, or Bible verses about the fear of God, this episode will meet you right where you are. This is about more than understanding God — it's about finally feeling safe with Him.
Key Scriptures Mentioned
- Proverbs 1:7 (Fear of the Lord — reverence, not terror)
